Honda is Going Electric

Honda is known for its long lasting vehicles that are efficient, and incredibly dependable. As the automotive industry moves toward fuel-free travel, the 2024 Prologue is emerging as the flagship electric midsize SUV from Honda.

Being the first EV from Honda, the 2024 Prologue hasn’t even graced American showrooms yet, and it already has the automotive market buzzing.

The Prologue’s Development Strikes a Surprising Partnership

The design of this electrified Honda model has been kept under wraps, and the only spy shots publicly available are of the Prologue EV concealed under camouflaging. However, it is expected to flaunt ultra-modern styling with large wheels, along with short front and rear overhangs.

Surprisingly, the Honda Prologue SUV is being developed jointly with General Motors, so it’ll have many of the same underpinnings as GM electric vehicles like the Chevy Blazer EV and the Cadillac Lyriq.

Though we don’t yet have the exact specifications of the 2024 Honda Prologue’s interior or the Honda Prologue’s seating capacity, we can expect this midsize SUV to be similar in size to the Chevy Blazer EV. Though the Prologue will be similar in size to its step-brother, the Blazer EV, we expect the Honda Design studio to give this electric SUV a personality of its own.

Harnessing the Power of the Ultium Platform

Because the Honda Prologue EV is being developed with the Blazer EV, you’ll find a version of GM’s Ultium battery packs that not only offer performance and range, but also fast charging. We expect the Honda Prologue to return an estimated driving range of anywhere between 250 and 320 miles and may even offer an all wheel drive configuration like the Blazer EV.

Expect Intelligent Safety and Tech

There’s no word yet about the safety and tech features of the 2024 Honda Prologue, but we expect it to feature some advanced version of the Honda Sensing™ Safety Suite. Featuring everything from automatic emergency braking to adaptive cruise control, you’ll always enjoy peace of mind on the road.
