How to Set the Clock in a Honda

How to Set the Clock in a Honda of a Particular Model Year
Whether you’ve just bought yourself a brand-new Honda model or a quality pre-owned one near Lyndhurst, you can reset the clock time in just several steps. Here are the steps on how to set the clock in a Honda depending on its model year:
2022 – 2024 Honda Models
For models with a seven-inch color touchscreen:
- Press the MENU button.
- Select Clock Settings.
- Select Automatic Time, then select OFF.
- Select Set Time.
- Select 12H/24H to change the 12 or 24 hour clock.
- Select the up or down arrow.
- Select Set to set the time.
For models with a nine-inch color touchscreen:
- Press the Home button.
- Select General Settings.
- Select System.
- Select Date & Time.
- Select Automatic Date & Time, then select OFF.
- Select Set Date or Set Time.
- Select the up or down arrow.
- Select Save to set the date or time.
Note: The audio system receives signals from GPS satellites, updating the clock automatically.
2016-2021 Honda Models
For non-touchscreen models:
- Press and hold the Menu/Clock button.
- Turn the selector knob to change hours.
- Press the knob to switch to minutes and turn it once again to toggle through minutes.
- Click set to finalize the time.
For touchscreen models:
- Select Home from the home screen of your infotainment system.
- Go to Settings, go to Clock, and go to Clock Adjustment.
- Adjust the time and then hit OK.
2012-2015 Honda Models
- Turn on the ignition.
- Hold down the clock stem (on the instrument panel left of the steering wheel).
- Turn the stem to change house and press the stem down to shift to the minute changing mode. Then, turn the stem once more to change minutes.
- Press the stem once more to finalize your new time.
2006-2011 Honda Models
- Turn on the ignition.
- Press and hold the Clock button until the time begins to blink.
- Click the Preset 1 button to change the hour and the Preset 2 button to change the minute.
1998-2005 Honda Models
- Turn on the ignition.
- Press and hold the Clock button until you hear a beep from your stereo. The clock should start flashing.
- Use Preset 4 to change the hour and Preset 5 to change the minute.
- Once again, press and hold the Clock button to finalize the new time.
